Essay

The thesis is devoted to complex research of personal insurance in the Civil Law in Ukraine. Using a comparative analysis of current civil legislation standards and their practical application, the author analyses the history of personal insurance institution development, the notions of legal relations in personal insurance, disputable questions of characteristics of the legal relation elements, treaty contents of personal insurance, peculiarities of compulsory personal insurance and its background, the order of obligation applications and treaty practice in Ukraine in questions of legal personal insurance regulation. As a result, the author presents new theoretical knowledge and practical recommendations for improvement of current civil legislation, especially in questions of changes and additions to the current Insurance Law in Ukraine.
