Turkina V. Hygienic regulations of varnish and paint materials for buildings (work conditions, safety criteria, classification and control).

The comlex regulation of varnish and paint materials with taking into account of the particularities of their and their application in household activity. The scientific elaboration and implementation of the toxic and hygienic estimation system of the varnish and paint materials in household activity for their safe use in the construction and during the repair works in the condition of involvment of the private initiative. Methods of the researches: hygienic, sanitary and chemical, toxicological, allergological, microbyological, statistical, mathematical data procesing. Theoretical value of the received data is to justify scientifucally of the system mode concerning the implementation of varnish and paint with taking into account of all the range of probable harmfull factors caused to the health of the human being and the environment. The received experimental data have been applied while preparing the toxicological and hygienic passports for 112 items of varnish and paint on 15 main formulations. There has been dressed up the list of indicator substances for air quality control in the premises where malar works had been done. The scientific novelty of the received data: for the first time the time validity regulation of varnish and paint has been justified in order to enable their use; there has been done a comparative analysis of the toxicological characteristics of the variable varnish and paint depending on their polymer basis; the varnish and paint materials have been classified according to the hygienically significant distinctions in their mud formulation in order to enable the correction of the directions and the volumes of the regulation of this kind of product; there have been determinated the danger factors while applying varnish and paint on the surface in the household activity and the hygienic characteristic of the work conditions while malar works were done with direct part of the population.
