Essay

The stagewise and complex approaches chosen in this work by the author have permitted her to analyse the age-related characteristics of the cerebral, systemic and intracerdial hemodynamics in the essentially healthy persons and in the AH patients and patients with an ischemic stroke against AH background. The novelty of this work is that the author has studied and dislosed the age specificities of the cerebral hemodynamics on the basis of an ultrasound dopplerography, systemic and intracardial hemodynamics (Exo-KG data) in arterial hypertensive patients with an ischemic stroke in their medical history, with an account being taken of the ischemic focus localisation. It has been found that the compensatory-collateral blood circulatory pathways in such patients are determined both by their age and by the ischemia locatisation. Age-related peculiarities of the structure of correlations have been disclosed between indices of the cerebral hemodynamics and those of the systemic and intracardial hemodynamics in stroke patients against AH background, and those peculiarities have been shown to be dependent on the ishemia focus localisation.
