Essay

The Object is investment processes in Ukraine and its regions; the goal is a development of mechanism elements for regulation of investment activity, directed on ensuring the rational use of available investment resources and stimulation of their attraction in priority spheres of economic activity of the region; the methods are an empirical analysis and syntheses, economy-statistical, rank correlation; the novelty is for the first time categorization of the investment sources on macro- and microlevel, methods of the estimation of investment attractiveness of the economic complex and industry branches with provision for investment risk, methods of the shaping and algorithm of the regional attraction investment programs development are offered, the component elements of the government regulation mechanism of investment activity in Ukraine are elaborated, ranked their profound part and economic contents notion "investments", "investment climate" and "investment attractiveness" are ranked. Methods and composition of estimation factors of the region investment attractiveness, system of the forecasting and programming economic and social development of the Ukraine; the sphere of the implementation is methodological and methodical development, proposed in the thesis, were used by the Economy administration of the Krivorozhskiy executive committee in Dnepropetrovsk region, by the Main Economy administration of the Dnepropetrovsk regional state administration, in educational process by higher education establishments, can be used by Ukrainian Department of economy and European integration and by the Main economy directorate of Ukrainian regional state administration .
