Object - 3,5-disubstituted 4-thiazolidones; the purpose - synthesis of new 3,5-disubstituted 4-thiazolidones and related heterocyclic systems, search substances with high anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial activities and low toxity; methods - organic synthesis, NMR-, IR-, mas- spectroscopies, thin layer chromatograhy, virtual screening, traditional pharmacological screening, QSAR -2D analysis; novelty - the effective methods of synthesis of 3,5-disubstituted 2-thioxothiazolidine-4-ones, 2,4-thiazolidinediones, 2-methylidene-4-thiazolidones and thiazolothiopyranes are worked out. Group of lead-compounds with high anti-inflamatory and antimicrobial activities were chosen; the outcomes - positive decision about granting of Ukraine patent on invention (applikation №2001075528); there are introduced into scientific process of Institute of Molecular Biology and Genetics of National Academy of Ukraine (Kiev); into educational process of organic chemistry department of Ivan Franco Lviv National University and pharmaceutical chemistry department of Zaporizhzhya State Medical University; areas - pharmacy.
