Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the research of process of a teacher's choice and acceptance of a pedagogical system of school instruction. The author analyses basic social and psychological factors influencing the development of an innovative educational process. It's shown that including into this process requires the teacher's personal and professional self-changing. A sequence of model has been built to reveal the psychological structure and mechanisms of a teacher's choice of some pedagogical system. His/her personal maturity is shown to be the main psychological component of the pedagogical system acceptance. A model of decision making process aimed to choice a new pedagogical system has been developed, and parameters of the psychological readiness to the choice action have been determined. The author shows the possibilities and formulates the principles of this readiness deliberate forming. An educational program has been made to raise a teacher's ability to make a conscious choice in the conditions of the educational reformation. The recommendations are offered to optimise the process of the vocational education and re-education of teachers.
