This dissertational research work is devoted to theoretical and experimental studies of peculiarities of reflexion development in junior school learners. The main approaches of research of this phenomenon in both domestic and world psychological sciences are enlightened. The author elaborates the definition of reflexion as of an integrated psychological entity. It is shown that a formation of reflexion in junior school learners depends directly on development of their ability for self-cognition and self-analysis, aa well as on their ability to rely on self-rating and possibility to regulate their behavior, coordinating it with expectations of others. Theoretical and technological model of reflexion development in junior school learners is worked out. The criteria for determining of reflexion development level of junior school learners have been established, and reflexion typology has been designated. Also, the system of techniques for optimization of reflexion development process in junior school learners both at family and at school have been created and tested. The main results of the research are implemented into everyday practice of school psychologists of city of Ternopil and in educational process of Ternopil State Pedagogical University.
