Essay

The thesis is devoted to the studying of the castle-towns as the main planning-structural parts of medieval towns on the Rus': Peremyshl, Zvenyhorod, Terebovlia, Halych, Lviv are investigated as examples. By the means of modeling the main principle of function-spatial organisation of capital castle-town were defined. On base of modeling of the functional-spatial organization and investigated architectural-planning structure of the Halych Land capital castle-towns has revealed the main stages and peculiarities of development of their architectural-spatial organization.
