This dissertation is devoted to the comprehensive study of collision rules and legal ways of resolving collision problems related to inheritance. The thesis contains a detailed analysis of the concept of collision in inheritance law, collision-related provisions under inheritance law and types of inheritance-related collisions in international private law. Based on the doctrine and legislation of over 50 countries the author looks at the inheritance law and legal ways of resolving inheritance-related collisions in international private law: unification, interpretation, qualification, cross-reference, notification of public order, super imperative provisions, will autonomy and neglecting of law. The findings of the research are presented as theoretical and practical recommendations as to the change of the collision-related regulation of inheritance with a foreign element.
