Essay

The dissertation work is based on the scientific ground of autohaemotransfusion therapy administration in preoperative period and introduction of the autoblood during surgical intervention with the aim to decrease amount of donor blood or even completely exclude it from the treatment scheme. The associations between collected blood volume, level of surgery intervention hardness, kind of haemostimulation and changes in erythron peripheral level values are defined. The best results were received when small doses of erythropoetin were used.In the work the methods of autoblood collection were improved and optimized, association between kind of disease, type of planned surgical intervention and estimated volume of blood loss was determined. Generalized study results gave the opportunity to plan autohaemotransfusion treatment and to develop the algorithm of physician actions during planning and application of the autohaemotransfusion. The conclusion that donor blood could not be used in 75-80% of surgical patients during surgical intervention was made on the base of the developed principles of autohaemotransfusion therapy.
