Essay

In the dissertation the system of diagnosis and treatment of patients with varicose disease complicated by relative valvular insufficiency of deep veins was grounded scientifically. The basis of this work is founded on data of examination and treatment of 317 patients with varicose disease complicated by relative valvular insufficiency of deep veins. The dissertation is based on the innovative method of diagnosis and treatment of patients with varicose disease complicated by relative valvular insufficiency of deep veins in lower limbs, that is based on detection of valvular insufficiency with the help of ultrasonic dopplerography and phlebosonography and precise definition of the vein diameter, which will allow the valve to really function. On 135 patients phlebectomy without valvular apparatus correction was performed. On patients extravasal correction of valvular apparatus of deep veins according to the traditional Vedensky method with vein lumen constriction by 1/3 of its diameter in combination with combined phlebectomy was performed. In 85 cases correction of valvular apparatus of deep veins was performed according to the original method - on a dosed basis. The remote results prove that the proposed method of operation significantly decreases the number of relapses.
