In the thesis the legitimacy of influence of the polyacrylamide (PAA) additives on pressure losses of sudden narrowings and expansions in pipes by diameters up to 50 mm is experimentally explored. The general expenses of energy are decreased, when in local pressure losses the friction losses previal, and are increased, when the losses on change of the form prevail. The economic benefit of use the additives depends from the geometrical characteristics of resistance, flow rate and hydrodynamical efficiency of the PAA.
