The comparative analysis of some ways of synthesis of 1-R-2-oxo-4-hydroxyquinoline-3-carboxylic acids benzothiazolyl-2-amides has been performed. One of them, the thermolysis of eguimolar amount of 3-carbethoxyquinoline and the corresponding benzothiazolyl-2-amine, has been recommended as a preparative method. The behavior of 1-R-2-oxo-4-hydroxyquinoline-3-carboxylic acids benzothiazolyl-2-amides in the conditions of bromination by molecular bromine in glacial acetic acid medium has been studied. The microbiological screening the substances synthesized has been conducted. 1H-2-Oxo-4-hydroxyquinoline-3-carboxylic acid benzothiazolyl-2-amide and 1-heptyl-2-oxo-4-hydroxyquinoline-3-carboxylic acid 6'-fluorobenzothiazolyl-2-amide have been recommended for profound research as promising drugs suitable for treating non-tuberculosis and tuberculosis mycobacteriosis respectively
