3. Object: mutual relation of mushroom pathogens with a plant of carrots, resistance of plants. Aim: to study biological and ecological features of development of activators of a black rot of carrots, to allocate an initial material for selection on resistance, to construct mathematical models of forecasts of a level of polygenic resistance of carrots. Methods: field, laboratory, statistical. Novelty: the specific structure of activators of a black rot in conditions of Left-bank Forest-steppe of Ukraine is investigated, the immunological characteristic of 104 collection samples from Daucus carota L is determined. Sources of practical resistance and attributes - indirect testers of a level of polygenic resistance of carrots are allocated. Results: Features of pathogenes, prevalence of activators of a black rot are in details investigated, methods of the accelerated estimation of resistance of an initial material of carrots in cultures іn vіtro and іn vіvo are developed, 7 sources of practical resistanceare allocated, forecasting models of a level of carrots to a black rot are developed. Degree of introduction: the hybrid of carrots Chymak F1 is created, the characteristic of a level of resistance of 104 samples is handed to the National center of genetic resources of plants of Ukraine. Sphere of use: theoretical bases of the selection of plants (phytopathology, immunity, selection, vegetable growing).
