. Object of the study: pregnant with chronic toxoplasmosis, preg-nant with normal pregnancy, intrauterine fetus. Purpose of the study: validation and working out of a complex of effective therapeutic and diagnostic measures aimed at correc-tion of disturbances in the FPC in pregnant with chronic toxo-plasmosis. Methods of the study: clinical statistical, ultrasound study, car-diotocography, assessment of the hormone level (estriol, proges-terone, placenta lactogen, cortisole) with immunoenzyme tech-nique; morphological, morphometric, immunomorphological study of the placenta. Practical significance of the obtained results: The research allowed to improve the algorithm of pregnant examination which is aimed at early diagnosis of chronic toxoplasmosis and changes in the FPC. To reduce the incidence of pregnancy complications and perinatal morbidity it was recommended to administer a complex of thera-peutic measures including Fansidar and hyperbaric oxygenation. Novelty of the obtained results: For the first time main patho-genetic links causing the development of FPC disorders in chronic toxoplasmosis in pregnant were revealed. The characteristics of endocrine placenta function were described, its characteristic im-munomorphological changes were presented, the intrauterine state of the fetus was investigated. Main clinical laboratory antenatal risk factors, which can be used to specify the diagnosis and prognosis of the disease as well as planning therapeutic measures, were established. Introduction: The obtained data about examination and treatment of the pregnant with chronic toxoplasmosis are used in the work of Kharkiv Regional Clinical Hospital, maternity hospitals No. 1 and 4 (Kharkiv). Theoretical concepts and practical recommendations of the work are used in the teaching process at departments of obstetrics and gynecology of Kharkiv State Medical University, Kharkiv Medical Academy for Post-graduate training. Sphere of application: medicine, obstetrics and gynecology.
