Oб'єкт дослідження - an actions system of procedural compulsion connected with person confinement and procedural criminal relations that have arose and developed during its application. Мета дослідження - theoretical generalization of issue of the procedural compulsion connected with person confinement as well as promotion to development the scientifically well-grounded provisions and recommendation regarding state bodies (their officials) activity improvement on application the procedural compulsion actions connected with person confinement, defense the constitutional rights of the persons that have involved into field of criminal legal proceedings. Методи дослідження та апаратура - а) scientific general (dialectic, systematic); scientific particular (logical, comparative and legal); sociological (questioning, studies of criminal cases); statistical (grouping, analysis of indicators). Теоретичні результати і новизна - suggested theoretical provisions could initial scientific basis for the further studies of problems of procedural measures application connected with isolation of a person, make improving for legal base and practice of administering. Практичні результати і новизна - basic provisions of the thesis could be used: а) in practical activity of the organs of the investigation; б) in scientific researches on further development the scientific well-grounded provisions and recommendation concerning legislative adjustment of procedural criminal activity on the procedural compulsion actions application; c) in legislative activity when doing addendum to the Procedural Criminal Code of Ukraine in force, in modification the draft of new Procedural Criminal Code of Ukraine. Basic provisions and conclusions of the thesis could be used in teaching, in preparing systematic literature. Предмет і ступінь впровадження - results of the research have been inculcated in the activity of the Investigation Board under the State Tax Administration of Ukraine; the new Procedural Criminal Code development task group under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine; National Academy of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, European University of Finances, Information Systems, Management and Business. Ефективність впровадження - conclusions and proposals have been positively estimated by the experts. Сфера використання - сrime investigation, law making, teaching.
