Teush S. Private law conventions of the Council of Europe

The object are private law conventions of the Council of Europe; the aim is to investigate the problems of the private law harmonization on the basis of the Council of Europe's conventions and of Ukraine's participation therein; the methods are dialictical, of formal logics, structural and functional analysis, historical and comparative; the new approach lies in a complex investigation of the Council of Europe's role in harmonizing private law, and of the issues of Ukraine's participation in private law conventions; the outcome are theoretical provisions together with practical recommendations on how to improve Ukrainian law; the sphere of use is protection of personal rights, legal regulation of wedlock and family relations, of heritage, securities and of the international legal assistance
