Essay

The thesis deals with development of restoring technology for sewer pipelines using ceramic products. Analysis of sewer networks and factors influencing the performance lifetime of constructions is carried out. It is established that during the two centuries the sewer networks built with using ceramics are showed good performance characteristics that is why their using in repair and restoring of modern sewers is very efficient. The work presents a rational combination of pipe inserts with using ceramic products. Methods for calculating of maximum length of pushing the chains of pipe inserts from the start to the target inspection shaft are developed. Methods for selecting solution composition for filling inter-pipe gaps are given. Technical, technological and organizational decisions for sewer pipelines' restoring with the help of sewer ceramic prefabricated and monolithic pipe inserts are proposed.
