Sunflower and its productivity. Regional estimation and division of agroclimatic resources of Ukraine, including the sunflower productivity. The classical methods of agro-climatic calculation and generalization with modern statistical methods, complex mapping of agro-climatic resources, based upon the method of cjmpressing the climatic information. For the first time, the complex estimation of the sunflower productive crops dynamics has been carried out for various regions of Ukraine, the methods of calculating the bio-climatic land potential were developed, and complex regional dividing of the lands have been done for natural and optimal moistening. The interrelationship between the heat resources index in the ploughing layer of the soil and the soil moisturing index with their subsequent zoning on considering the microclimate is examined. A model "Climate-Crop" was developed and adapted for the sunflower, and agro-climatic regional division of the crops has been carried out for the sunflower of various kinds and grades. The obtained results could be applied in the branches of agriculture and meteorological services for scientific background of expanding the agricultural lands, determining the optimal sowing terns on the soils of different mechanical composition, optimizing the quality sunflower allocation over different regions of Ukraine.
