The dissertation is devoted to the analysis of K.S. Bureviy's mock works on the basis of Edward Strikha's parodies. Separate materials, regarding genre of parodi and parodying in K.S. Bureviy's works, are generalizid and sistematized for the first time. The evolution of narrator, development of poet-mystifir is revealed. The separation of independent genre of literary work - the genre of penitential letter - was proposed.
