Methodical standpoints of applying integrated factors to EGC for estimation of the GE suitability for economic progress have been developed. The integral parameter has been proved to allow to take into account the whole set of GE properties expressed by qualitative and quantitative parameters. The estimation of engineering risk within the borders of the test site has been performed basing on the integrated parameter of GE properties and recommendations for engineering protection of the urbanized territories (UT) have been worked out.
