Kazmirenko V. Microwave dielectric phase shifters

The thesis is devoted to development of principles of microwave dielectric phase shifters creation. The way of piezoelectric control over propagation constant waveguide with partial dielectric filling is presented. Electrodynamic models of integrated transmission lines on multilayered dielectric substrates are developed. The way of control efficiency increase is proposed for hybrid phase shifters. For measurement of parameters of bulk materials with high dielectric permittivity and losses waveguide non-resonant transmission/short circuit method is advanced with use of dielectric transformers. Waveguide non-resonant non-destructive method measurement of thin films parameters is proposed.
