Mysan V. The development of historical propedevtics in Ukrainian school

In the thesis investigation the nature of the concept "historical propedevtics" is defined, the periodization of the development of primary historical education is compiled, the ways of genesis of the contents and practice of school historical propedevtics are analysed. The structural component and principles are defined according to which the primary history courses on various stages of schooling were compiled. The contemporary tendencies in the development of primary history courses are summarized that will help to forecast the future of historical propedevtics.
