Essay

The dissertation discovers OSCE's significance in the system of the modern international relations, its real importance for safeguarding of peace and security in Eurasian space in response to aspects, analyses efficiency of OSCE's mechanisms. The conceptual foundation, internal and external factors of functioning of this unique transatlantic structure of security is determined on the basis of the critical analysis of main directions of modern political science. On the basis of obvious practice the correspondence of factual place and role of OSCE to officially proclaimed thesis is exposed. The correspondence of OSCE to other structure of security in European continent is examined as well as its part after NATO and EU expansion. The possibility of formation OSCE as universal security organization is revealed. The process of development of relations between Ukraine and OSCE is examined in the context of new European architecture of security. It presents the analysis of the organizational aspects of transformation CSCE to OSCE, basic results of institution. Author formulated a number of proposals for improvement to increase the efficiency of organization.
