Essay

Firstly, along with described in the special literature traditional factors of the psychogenic frigidity forming, the existing of a deep traumatic stress connected with the violation of gender-role identification is grounded theoretically and practically. The characteristics of mother-daughter relations are investigated as crucial ones for gender-role system and gender-role behavior of the adult woman. It is shown that these relations can be a source of a traumatic influence in the process of psychogenic frigidity forming. On the basis of the data obtained during the research a complex of correctional training means that can be an effective tool for psychotherapeutic treating of psychogenic frigidity is worked out. This complex is directed to the harmonization of gender-role structure and development of female role in women with the said disfunction.
