In the scientific work the comparative evaluation of efficacy of surgical and medical therapies in patients with BPH is performed. The electron microscopy studies of detrusor muscle in patients with BPH were performed. The impairment of microcirculation and oxygenation of detrusor muscle was found in infravesical obstruction and as a result - lesions in the intracellular organelles. The investigations performed after application of a1A-blocker "Omnic" testified for the positive influence of the drug upon the ultrastructural organization of the detrusor muscle. Evaluation of the cost of surgical and medical treatment was performed. The protocol of choice of treatment method was developed.
