Tsiganko O. Fine Arts Exhibition Practice in Kharkiv (1917-1934)

The object of the given work is art culture of Ukraine from 20s to early 30s of the 20th century; the purpose of the work is making characteristics of art-exhibition activity in Kharkiv in 1917-1934 as a social cultural phenomenon and revealing its significance for modern art-exhibition sphere of Ukraine; methods of the research are the following: historical, analytical, system-structural approach, culture studies; the novelty of the work - for the first time complete culture analyses of art-exhibition activity in Kharkiv in the given time period is made; organization, financial and information principles and methods of Fine art presentation at the exhibitions are defined; exposition practice of the State bodies, trade and professional unions as well as Art groups and museums is studied; principles of building and social functioning of exhibitions are defined; the results of the work are the following: information field in the sphere of culture studies and museum activity is extended; special lecturecourse for the students is introduced; the branch - culture studies, Art studies, museum studies, exhibition activity.
