Rysich J. Becoming and development of the terminological system of artistic painting in Ukrainian

Object - Ukrainian terminology of artistic painting. Target - to systematize artistic painting terminology, to carry out lingohistorical and linguistic analysis of given terminological system. Methods - diachronically and synchronically descriptive method, methods of linguistic observation, comparison, general conclusion. Novelty - the artistic painting terminology for the first time represented as the completely developed system in the process of its becoming and development. Results - it is that the modern Ukrainian terminology of artistic painting in the process of its organization into hierarchically complete system has gone through the stages of formation, becoming and development from XI to XXI century. The object being studied as the system of terms proper is defined beginning with the middle of XXth century. The organization of artistic painting terminology is designated owing to the analysis of ramified semantic-paradigmatical links, structural relations, functinal and stylistic potential of terminological units. The list of artistic painting terms has been compiled.
