In the dissertation have been investigated the component and functional structure of the natural potential and peculiarities of its territorial differentiation. The influence of the size and structure of the natural agricultural potential on the effectiveness and productivity of agricultural production in the region have been defined. There has been made the estimation of modern condition of ecological situation conceming the usage of the natural agricultural resource potential of Ternopil region, and worked out the main ways of optimization of its usage.
