. The subject of the dissertation is the source of law of Kievan Rus' - Efrem' Pilot's Book. The author shows the causes of the Pilot's Book appearing on the territory of Kievan Rus', classifies legal norms and sources of Efrem' Pilot's Book by the transformation order, analyzes legal norms of Efrem' Pilot's Book and proves influence of the Church law at the laic legal system of Kievan Rus'. Special attention paid to the principles and legal norms in the contest of Efrem' Pilot's Book, which spread on the territory of Kievan Rus', did through the centuries and appeared in the modern legal system of Ukraine.
