Bulgakova I. Legal Regulation of Cargo Transit by Rail Freightage in Ukraine

This thesis is an independent and completed scientific work presenting the first research of theoretical and practical aspects of cargo transit by rail freightage in Ukraine. On the basis of theoretical achievements of academic lawyers of different historical periods and the analysis of the current legislation the author investigates the issues inseparably linked with the transportation processes, their legal status, cargo transit planning as well as the definition of transport agreement being a legal form connected with the cargo transportation. Special emphasis is made on the research of the legal nature, significance, agreement conclusion procedures and contents of the agreement for cargo transit by rail freightage and agreement connected with cargo transit by rail freightage. The work also contains newly formulated concepts and reasonable suggestions on further improvements in the institute of President of Ukraine in the light of Ukraine's transition towards parliamentary-presidential republicanism.
