Kucherenko E. Problems of formation, function and development of Ukrainian fire-technical system of terms

Object - Ukrainian fire-technical terminology, system of terms. Aim - to analyze the specific formation, functioning and development features of fire-technical terminology as a system of terminological elements reflecting the complex unity of fire-fighting concepts, to characterize the structural specifics of fire-technical system of terms. Methods - descriptive (linguistic watch, comparison, generalization), statistical, conceptual and component analysis, typological, diachronic and synchronic analysis. Novelty and results - For the first time in the Ukrainian study of terms the Ukrainian fire-technical terminology was analyzed as a separate system of terms in the modern Ukrainian scientific language. The formation stages were defined, topical term classification was made, normalization directions for the system of terms were determined. Sphere of application - lexicology, terminology.
