Essay

The thesis is devoted to the elaboration of methods, algorithms, programs of geometrical modelling of diagonal turbines running parts' elements and their visualization at the computer monitor's screen using up-to-date achievements of applied geometry, computer graphics in the field of analytical presentation of curves and surfaces of complicated technical forms. The methods of geometrical modelling of impeller of diagonal type are examined in the thesis. The offered geometrical model contains the blocks of geometrical modelling of a impeller's meridional lines and blades' functional surfaces forming. There are proposed the methods of geometrical modelling of impeller of diagonal turbines with a small degree of diagonality and also modelling of profiles of blades of axial stages that form diagonal turbines. There are presented methods of geometrical modelling of the fixed elements of diagonal turbines.
