3The object is the democratization of Society as one of the key tendetions of modern world development; the aim is to devote the mass-media's influence on the process of democratization; the methods are used - systematic and structural analysis, dialectic and comparative-historical metthods, sociological, statistical, analogue computetion; the new approach contains in sach terms: the basic principles to understanding the mass-media and politics interaction are shown, the features of mass-media functioning in the conditions of democracy are discovered, the models of political and media-systems interaction are characterized, and also the modern tendencies of mass-media development are shown, the ways of creation of such model, which provides functioning mass-media as channel of the mass communications assisting development of democracy, are defined too, the tendencies of mass-media development in Ukraine are analyzed and the type of model of the Ukrainian political and media-systems interaction is defined, the necessity of formation the social - responsible models of political and media -systems interaction is proved; as a result author gives the practical recommendations for creation the mass communications system in Ukraine, which will promote democratization and consolidation of a society, his propositions include: the working up and inculcation the democratic mechanisms of regulation and self-regulation of mass-media; the demonopolization of mass-media, means of their delivery, broadcasting and technical maintenance; the liquidation of State property in mass-media by creation of public TV and broadcasting; the public support for the free independent press; the assistance for the accelerated development of the Internet.
