Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the study of bioelectrical activity and morpho-functional state of the heart in elderly hypertensive patients. Revealed pathological changes of ECG HR testify to the development of electrical cardiac instability in hypertensive patients. Decreased electrical LA activity with concomitant increased of LV size was proved to assotiate with greater frequency of late ventricular potentials detection. Based on complex analysis of influence of antihypertensive therapy (fosinopril, lisinopril, carvedilol) on EchoCG, VCG, ECG HR parameters, it has been elaborated recommendations for their differential use for patients depending on disease severity, LVH type and character of its bioelectrical activity disordres. An application field is a clinical medicine. The results have been applied in practice of medical institutions.
