Essay

The object is the purified solubilised Ca2+, Mg2+-ATPase of the smooth muscle cells and myosin ATPase of cardiac muscle. The aim is to investigate the influence of organic solvents and dielectric permeability on the Ca2+-transport ATPase activity and metal ions as well as myosin ATPase activity. The methods are chromatogra-phy, electrophoresis, spectroscopy, kinetic and statistic analysis. Results: it was found that the alteration of di-electric permeability of incubation medium changes the Ca2+, Mg2+-ATPase's kinetic characteristics; it has been shown that the activity of the myosin ATPase and proc-ess of the actomyosin superprecipitation depend on the presence of certain ion, which is able to activate or in-hibit these processes, accordingly. Field of using is the biomedical application.
