Gamaliy I. Rational landuse on a local level in agrolandscapes with radioactive contamination (on example of Bilotserkivskyi district of Kyiv region).

The thesis deals with the theoretical and methodological issues of rational landuse on local spatial level. These issues are solved on example of Bilotserkivskyi district of Kyiv region, which is typical for Rightbank Forest-and-steppe zone of Ukraine with its landscape structure, landuse practices and spatial pattern of radioactive contamination. The system of indices was develohed to assess the radioecological and agroecological state of agrolandscapes. The spatial and temporal peculiarities of radioactive contamination and self-purification of agrolandscapes were found. On the basis of these estimates and peculiarities the system of practical recommendations for optimization of local landuse, developing the system of local radioecological monitoring, and ratioanl use of local recreation resources are proposed.
