YaREMChUK O. The efficacy of information wave therapy of patients with dyscirculatory encephalopathy

The dissertation deals with a complex study of the effect of information wave therapy on the neurologic status, cognitive functions, the state of parameters of pro- antioxidant equilibrium and immunologic status in the blood of patients with dyscirculatory encephalopathy that developed against a background of essential hypertension and cerebral atherosclerosis. As a result of the work carried out by the author a new method of treating dyscirculatory encephalopathy with the use of information wave therapy has been proposed. The obtained findings are indicative of a positive influence of information wave therapy on the state of the neuropsychic functions in patients with dyscirculatory encephalopathy, considerably enhancing the therapeutic efficacy. Et has been established that the use of information wave therapy exerts a normalizing action on the basic parameters of the blood oxidant and antioxidant systems. The findings obtained by the author suggest that information wave therapy contributes to the normalization of the indices of the cellular component and improves the indices of the humoral component of the immune system
