Object - art interpretation in a context of musical art; the purpose - to define of structure and basic proper-ties of process theatricality of choral music as a method of the artistic interpretation; methods - dialectic, the termino-logical, contextual, structural and conceptual analyses, hermeneutic theory, comparative method and modeling; the novelty - for the first time is created theoretical base for study theatricality of choral music, the further development in research has received the analysis of structure, specific-ity and preconditions of processes in sphere musical per-formance, the existing classification of kinds of musical interpretation to different attributes is specified; results - the general characteristic theatricality of musical figura-tiveness as method of art interpretation is submitted, the system of parameters of adequacy to interpretation of a piece of music to its author's plan is determined; is offered classification of theatricality means of choral products de-pending on their style, genre and type of sense; branch - theory and history of culture, of art.
