Gorbunova V. Psychological determinants of the ethnic consciousness formation in youth

The ethnic consciousness of a person is examined as a distinctive and original national system of the ethnic reality interpretation. It is theoretically grounded that the specificity of ethnic consciousness formation in youth is the active development of interethnic perception. It denotes restructurization and meaning changes of value and national contents of ethnic consciousness. Accordingly, the productivity of system analysis of interethnic perception conformity to natural laws of a person, structural and notional peculiarities of ethnic consciousness of a person at the study of psychological determinants of ethnic consciousness formation in youth are explored. The point of forming-up experience is training procedure "The World's Ethnic Map".
