Essay

The torch gas discharge induced by microwave fields are under consideration. The subject of investigation are electromagnetic fields in the discharge and connection of ones with discharge structure. A new experimental method which based on usage of vibration string as a perturbing body has been proposed. The electric component distributions of microwave field in discharge are studied. The excitation of variety of structures in microwave discharge (filament, torch, and sphere) depended on operating mode is found and explained. Has been investigated the influence of ones on microwave field distribution and energy parameters. Physics of gas discharge and physics of microwaves are application area.
