Essay

The thesis is dedicated to determination of dynamic stress intensity factors in 3-D infinite elastic solids with single and interacting plane absolutely rigid inclusions and cracks under steady-state loadings and wave fields by the boundary integral equations (BIEs) method. By using the integral representations of solutions the problems are reduced to solving the two- dimensional integral equations with the integration domain that coincides with the defects domain. The BIEs method is expanded to 3-D problems on non- synchronous interaction of cracks. The approaches to solving the BIEs systems are proposed for dynamic stationary problems: the analytical small parameter method in the low vibration frequency range and the numerical boundary element method for the wide vibration frequency range. The parameters of vibration processes (including resonance effects) are analyzed in the solid with circular stress concentrators for a wide spectrum of vibration frequency, different incident factors, geometrical parameters and quantity of defects.
