Essay

The thesis is devoted to problems of feedthrough power measurement in rectangular multimode waveguides. Various methods of the feedthrough power measurement in multimode waveguides are considered. It is suggested to use galvanomagnetic transducers of the electromagnetic field for the feedthrough power measurement in multimode waveguides. The distribution of power flow density in a double-mode waveguide is analyzed. The experiment of feedthrough power measurement by a galva-nomagnetic transducer in a double-mode waveguide is described. The method of the feedthrough power measurement in multimode waveguides, which differs from traditional methods by use of galvanomag-netic transducers of the electromagnetic field, is developed.
