Essay

Dissertation is devoided to the study of the role of acid-base imbalance in disruption between proteolytic enzymes and their protein inhibitors in blood serum and tissues of aorta. Disbalance in elastolytic system in blood serum and in aorta during acute and subacute hyperchloremic acidosis occurs because of elastase activity increase and decrease in a2-macroglobulin level. In lactate-acidosis the balance between elastase and its inhibitors is disrupted due to decrease of a2-macroglobulin concentration in blood serum and increase of elastase activity in aorta tissues. Metabolic acidosis, which develops during starvation, leads to elastase activity increase and decrease of a2-macroglobulin contents, and degree of disbalance of elastolytic system in blood serum and aorta tissues augments together with duration of starvation. In tissues of aorta the balance of elastolytic system during non-respiratory alkalosis is sheaved due to elastase activity elevation, but the level of inhibitors is even ascended. The data obtained witnesses the disbalance between elastase and its inhibitors in aorta tissues and blood serum to be one of the mechanisms of vessel wall damage.
