Dolzhykova T. "Language personality of Panteleimon Kulish"

Object: the works of Р.Kulish. The purpose - to investigate the language person Р.Kulish in a context of a history of Ukrainian literary language of second half ХІХ century. Methods: lexical-semantic, descriptive. The theoretical significance consists in a deepening of theoretical bases of study of the lan-guage person. Practical value: the material of work can be used in teaching a history of Ukrainian liter-ary language and lingualstylistic, and also for drawing up of the historical dictionaries. Novelty: for the first time the extra- and intra-linguistic factors of P.Kulish’s formation as a language personality have been established; the significance of his editorial and publishing activities, linguistic studios and translation activities for the formation of the literary language norms has been ascertained.
