Komarova Z. Formal Syntactic and Semantic Functional Parameters of Participial Constructoins in the Struсture of the Sentence

The dissertation is devoted to the elucidation of the internal formal syntactic organization of participial constructions and parameters of their functioning in the structure of simple extended and complex sentences. The work specifies the grammatical status of participles, verbal adverbs and participial constructions; determines the combinability of the participial as a secondary predicative; specifies the models of participial constructions; suggests a method for transforming simple sentences with the adverbial component – the participial construction and on its basis the elucidation of semantic syntactic relations in the structure of the simple non-elementary sentence; describes various types of complex sentences and complex participial constructions combined with one or more participial predicative parts.
