Tykholoz N. The genre modifications of a fairy tale in the Ivan Franko's works.

The thesis is devoted to the complex genological analysis of Ivan Franko's literary fairy tales from the point of view of aesthetic-functional typology of genre modifications: entertaining-didactic, picaresque-satirical, satirical, philosophical-satirical, philosophical. In the work the understanding of categories of a genre and genre updating is concretized; the genological status of a fairy tale as folklore and literary genre is determined; its place in genological consciousness of the writer is found out. The important features of a problematics and poetics Ivan Franko's fairy tale-creativity, his role in development of the ukrainian literary fairy tale are characterized.
