Dynamics of changes in phonological system of Ukrainian language South-West dialects has been traced in the dissertation on the material of the maps and commentaries of the second volume of the Atlas of the Ukrainian Language (AUL) and modern dialectal records. Certain feature peculiarities of the structural level (phonetic one) and one of the revealed stratificated dialectal feature complexes on the South-West dialect territory have been investigated taking into account stratigraphy of a dialectal space construction with nucleus and periphery.
