Essay

The dissertation is dedicated to the hygienic study and basis of possibility of using fuel slags from hydropower stations of Ukraine as loading for fast filters water purification stations. It was determineted the absent of the changes of perceptive, physical and chemical, microbiological and radiological indicators of water quality. The fuel slags do not decrease the effectiveness of chlorine processing of water and do not prevent effective disinfaction of the filters of water-supply stations. It was proved the absence of toxicological and cancerogenic influence of water slags exstracts. The filtration properties of fuel slags include improvement of the perceptive qualities and effectiveness with regard to bacterial pollution.
