Essay

The chromatospectrophotometric method first determined quantitative content of emodin in Frangula ainus, seeds of Rhamnus cathartica and chrysophanol in rhizomes and roots of Rumex confertus. There was carried out excretion of emodin from Frangula ainus (2 methods), seeds of Rhamnus cathartica (3 methods) and chrysophanol of rhizomes and roots of Rumex confertus (2 methods). For the first time in Ukraine, there is carried out determination of content of the sum of anthracene derivatives in rhizomes and roots of Rumex confertus in different periods of provision.*From the underground organs of Rumex confertus there was excreted and purified chrysophanol, quantitative content was determined, and its pharmacopoeia standard sample was prepared.
